You need an iOS 14.0+ or Android 8.0+ device, an internet connection (WiFi or mobile data), and an active subscription. No additional hardware is required.
During the setup process, you can browse available numbers and select one that suits your needs. Choose from local, national, or toll-free numbers.
Open the app, go to the Keypad tab, enter the phone number, and tap the green call button. You can also call contacts directly from your phone's contact list.
No, when you make calls through Any Number Anywhere, recipients will see your virtual number, not your personal phone number.

Yes! The Messages tab allows you to send and receive SMS messages using your virtual number. All messages are stored in the app.
Both work! You can use WiFi or your mobile data connection. The app automatically adapts to your connection quality.

You'll receive notifications as you approach your limit. Once exceeded, outbound calling will be restricted until your next billing cycle or you can upgrade to a higher plan.
You can cancel anytime through your device's subscription settings (App Store or Google Play). Your service will continue until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. Generally, subscriptions are non-refundable, but you can request a refund through your app store within their refund window.
Yes! You can change your plan at any time in the app settings. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle.
Missed calls automatically go to voicemail. You can record a custom greeting, and voicemails are transcribed automatically. Access them in the Voicemail tab.
Pro plan feature that lets you set specific hours when calls ring through. Outside those hours, calls go directly to voicemail. Perfect for work-life balance.

Yes! The app integrates with your device contacts. You can call and message your existing contacts directly through the app.
Visit dashboard.anynumberanywhere.comand follow the setup wizard. You'll paste your business website URL, and our system will automatically build your AI's knowledge base and profile. The whole process takes about 5 minutes.
In the dashboard, go to Calendarand click “Connect Google Calendar” or “Connect Outlook”. You'll be taken through a secure OAuth flow to authorise access. Once connected, the AI can check your real-time availability and book appointments during calls.
The AI can answer any question you've added to your knowledge base, take caller details (name, email, reason, urgency), and book appointments. It will:
In the dashboard, go to Conversationsto browse all AI-handled calls. Each call shows the full transcript, AI-generated summary, caller details, sentiment, and urgency level. You'll also receive a push notification on your phone immediately after each AI call.
Go to Knowledge Basein the dashboard. You can add, edit, or remove Q&A pairs manually, or click “Analyse Website” to re-scan your website URL and auto-update the knowledge base. Changes take effect immediately on the next AI call.
You'll receive a push notification and email as you approach your limit. Once reached, inbound calls will route to your standard voicemail greeting until your next billing cycle resets your allowance. You can upgrade or contact support if you need a higher limit.
Go to Personalityin the dashboard. You can set your AI's receptionist name, greeting style (professional, friendly, or casual), chattiness level, custom greeting script, and any additional instructions. Changes are applied to all future calls immediately.
Yes. You can port your Any Number Anywhere number out to another UK communications provider at any time, in line with Ofcom General Condition C7. We will not delay, refuse, or penalise a valid port-out.
Two options:
We may ask you to confirm your account email and payment method before approving the port, to protect against unauthorised port-out attempts.
No. There is no port-out fee, no exit fee, and no contractual penalty for switching. We absorb any administrative cost.
UK number ports usually complete within 5 to 10 working days, although the exact time is set by the gaining provider and the underlying carriers. Your service stays active until the port physically completes, so you don't lose calls or messages during the transfer.
Local numbers (01/02) and national numbers (03) port reliably. UK mobile networks are sometimes reluctant to accept VoIP-origin mobile numbers from gaining providers — we will always cooperate with the port, but the final decision sits with the network you're moving to. If a port is rejected, we'll let you know in writing and offer either a pro-rata refund or continued service.
Your Any Number Anywhere subscription cancels automatically when the port completes, and we refund any unused portion of your current billing period. Your AI Receptionist profile, knowledge base, calendar connections, and conversation history don't transfer with the number — only the phone number itself ports.

VoIP apps have limitations with emergency calling. Always ensure you have a traditional phone line or mobile service available for emergencies. Use your device's native phone app for emergency calls.
You can delete your account from inside the app (Settings → Delete account) or by emailing support@anynumberanywhere.com. See our account deletion page for full details, what data is removed, and what is retained for legal reasons.
