Delete Your Account

Request permanent deletion of your Any Number Anywhere account and all associated data.

Option 1: Delete from inside the app

The fastest way to delete your account is from the mobile app:

  1. Open the Any Number Anywhere app on iOS or Android.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm. Your account, virtual number, messages, voicemail, and call history are scheduled for permanent deletion immediately.

This action is irreversible. Once confirmed, your data cannot be recovered.

Option 2: Email us

If you no longer have access to the app, email us from the address registered on your account and we'll process your deletion request within 30 days.

Please send the request from the email address on the account so we can verify ownership.

What we delete

When your deletion request is processed, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your account profile (email, name, password)
  • Your virtual phone number assignment (the number is released and may be re-issued to another user after a quarantine period)
  • Call history, call recordings and voicemail
  • SMS messages (sent and received)
  • AI receptionist configuration, knowledge base and call transcripts
  • Push notification tokens and device identifiers
  • Calendar integration tokens (Google Calendar / Outlook), if connected
  • Stored business address and contact details

What we're required to retain

A small amount of information is kept after account deletion only where the law requires it:

  • Billing and tax records— invoices and payment records are retained for up to 7 years to comply with UK tax law (HMRC requirements).
  • Telecoms call detail records (CDRs)— basic metadata about calls (numbers, timestamps, duration) may be retained by our underlying telephony carrier (Twilio) for regulatory and fraud-prevention purposes.
  • Anti-abuse logs— if your account was suspended for fraud, abuse, or policy violation, we retain a hashed record of the email address to prevent re-registration.

None of this retained data is used for marketing or shared with third parties beyond what's described in our Privacy Policy.

How long does deletion take?

  • In-app deletion:account deactivated immediately, all personal data purged within 24–72 hours.
  • Email request: we acknowledge within 5 working days and complete deletion within 30 days, in line with UK GDPR.

Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Please cancel your subscription separately in the App Store or Google Play before requesting account deletion to avoid further charges. Web subscriptions billed via Stripe are cancelled as part of the deletion process.
