1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Any Number Anywhere ("the App," "Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Any Number Anywhere provides VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) calling, SMS messaging, voicemail, and AI receptionist services through virtual UK phone numbers. Our Service allows you to:

  • Make and receive phone calls
  • Send and receive SMS messages
  • Receive and manage voicemail
  • Access call logs and message history
  • Configure business hours and call routing
  • Deploy an AI-powered receptionist to answer calls, collect caller information, and book appointments on your behalf (AI Receptionist plan)
  • Manage your service via a web-based dashboard and companion mobile application

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. Account Registration

To use our Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your account information
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Subscription Plans

We offer subscription-based plans with varying features and usage limits:

  • Starter Plan: £12.99/month — includes 100 minutes and 100 SMS
  • Pro Plan: £24.99/month — includes 400 minutes, 500 SMS, and additional features including call recording and AI transcription
  • AI Receptionist Plan: £44.99/month — includes 400 minutes, 500 SMS, 200 AI-handled calls, live AI call answering, calendar booking, knowledge base, web dashboard, and all Pro features

5.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all applicable fees. All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

5.3 Usage Limits

Your plan includes a monthly allocation of minutes. If you exceed your limit, additional usage may be restricted or subject to overage charges.

5.4 Automatic Renewal

Your subscription automatically renews each month unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime through the App or your device's subscription settings.

5.5 Refunds

Refunds are subject to the refund policy of your platform (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Generally, payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. AI Receptionist Plan

6.1 What Constitutes an AI Call

An “AI call” means any inbound telephone call that is answered and handled by the automated AI Receptionist system on your behalf, regardless of duration. AI calls count against your monthly AI call allowance (200 per month on the AI Receptionist plan).

6.2 AI Call Usage Limits

If you reach your monthly AI call allowance, inbound calls will revert to your standard voicemail greeting until your next billing cycle. We will notify you by push notification and email as you approach your limit. You may upgrade your plan at any time to restore AI call handling.

6.3 AI-Generated Conversations and Caller Disclosure

The AI Receptionist uses a natural-sounding synthetic voice and may not proactively identify itself as an automated system unless configured to do so. You, the subscriber, are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the AI Receptionist complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including any legal requirements to disclose to callers that they are interacting with an automated system. Any Number Anywhere accepts no liability for any failure by the subscriber to provide required disclosures.

6.4 AI Knowledge Base Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of all information provided in your AI knowledge base, business profile, and custom instructions. Any Number Anywhere is not liable for incorrect or misleading information communicated to callers as a result of inaccurate knowledge base content.

6.5 Calendar Booking

When calendar booking is enabled, the AI Receptionist may create calendar events on your behalf. You are responsible for reviewing and managing bookings made by the AI. Any Number Anywhere is not liable for scheduling errors arising from incorrect calendar configuration or availability settings.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Make harassing, threatening, or abusive calls or messages
  • Send spam, unsolicited marketing, or bulk messages
  • Engage in fraud, phishing, or impersonation
  • Make excessive automated calls (robocalling)
  • Interfere with the Service or other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the Service for illegal activities including but not limited to drug trafficking, terrorism, or money laundering
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

8. Emergency Calling Limitations

⚠️ IMPORTANT WARNING

Any Number Anywhere may have limitations for emergency calling (999, 112, 911). Always ensure you have access to a traditional phone line or mobile service for emergency situations. We are not liable for any inability to reach emergency services.

9. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to:

  • Maintenance and updates
  • Internet connectivity issues
  • Third-party service disruptions
  • Technical problems or force majeure events

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Any Number Anywhere and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the App
  • Remove copyright or proprietary notices
  • Use our trademarks without permission

11. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create through the Service (voicemail greetings, messages, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content to provide the Service.

You are responsible for your content and must not share content that is illegal, infringing, or violates others' rights.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

13.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Fail to pay required fees
  • Use the Service in a way that harms us or other users

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to the Service ends immediately. We may delete your data after a retention period. Some provisions of these Terms survive termination.

14. Number Portability (Porting Out)

14.1 Your Right to Port Out

You may transfer (“port”) your Any Number Anywhere phone number to another communications provider at any time, in accordance with Ofcom General Condition C7 (Number Portability). We will cooperate with the gaining provider's port request and will not unreasonably delay or refuse a valid port-out.

14.2 No Port-Out Fee

We do not charge a fee for porting your number out, and we will not impose any contractual penalty as a result of you choosing to switch to another provider.

14.3 How to Initiate a Port-Out

To port your number to another provider:

  • Sign up with the gaining provider and request a port of your Any Number Anywhere number. They will issue a Letter of Authorisation (LOA) and submit the port request to our underlying carrier on your behalf, or
  • Email support@anynumberanywhere.com and we will help you initiate the port.

We may require reasonable identity verification (for example, confirming the email address and payment method on the account) before approving a port-out, in order to protect against unauthorised port-out attempts.

14.4 Port Timing

UK number ports typically complete within 5 to 10 working days from when a valid request is received, although the exact timing is set by the gaining provider and the underlying carriers. Your service will remain active up to the moment the port completes, so you continue to receive calls and messages until the number transfers.

14.5 Effect on Your Subscription

Your Any Number Anywhere subscription will be terminated automatically once the port completes. We will refund any unused, pre-paid portion of the current billing period on a pro-rata basis. Refunds for subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play remain subject to those platforms' refund policies.

14.6 Limitations

  • Mobile numbers (+447): UK mobile carriers are not always willing to accept VoIP-origin mobile numbers from gaining providers. If a port-out is rejected by the gaining mobile carrier for this reason, we will provide written confirmation that we did not impede the port and will offer continuation of service or a pro-rata refund.
  • Outstanding amounts: We may decline to release your number while there are unpaid charges or fees on your account, but only to the extent permitted by Ofcom General Condition C7.
  • AI Receptionist configuration: Your AI Receptionist profile, knowledge base, calendar connections, conversation history, and other Service-specific data do not transfer with the number. The number itself ports; the surrounding Service does not.

15. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We disclaim all warranties including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
  • Results from using the Service will meet your requirements

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Any Number Anywhere from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of others
  • Your content or conduct

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us to attempt informal resolution.

19. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Posting updated Terms in the App
  • Updating the "Last updated" date
  • Sending email notification for significant changes

Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Any Number Anywhere regarding the Service.
